Whats New in RC 4?<br />

The AdministrationCP has been vastly improved with a much better layout and easier navigation.<br />
You can now add items to players in the AdminCP.<br />
You can now set the Default Weapon of a member very easily in a three-click form.<br />
You can now use the variable {&#36;defaultitem.} to display the default item of the member if logged in and one is set. E.g {&#36;defaultitem.name}<br />
Members can now search their all comments, comments on their profile, messages and players.<br />
Crons are no longer used,nNo longer do you need to set up the pesky crons, it's all controlled right in your AdminCP! It has been replaced with "tasks" which run when you want them to. For instance, one task updates gold, you can set the task to run every day, every hour or even every minute!<br />
As part of the tasks, you can show on your templates when each task is about to run; "Next bank interest", "next gold increase", "Next NPC HP gain" etc.<br />
When updating member levels, the maximum EXP is auto updated.<br />
<br />
Bugs<br />
The badword filter was not applied to private messages subjects and message contents.<br />
If you added new badwords, old messages would not abide by the new rules.<br />
When you sent a message with line breaks in, you would see \r\n etc.<br />
When you view a comment with line breaks in, you would see \r\n etc.<br />
"Warning: Illegal offset type in" error when viewing items in Admin.<br />
Cannot change the image of a fish in admin.<br />
Member profile text added slashes when they were not needed.<br />
Clan comments and player comments were paginated to 20 per page, where the Admin was unable to change this value.<br />
Clan comment pagination did not work properly.<br />
Clan comments were ordered from earlist to latest now -&gt; latest to earlist. <br />
When creating a clan comment and a line break was used, it would now show afterwards - would look like a 'wall of text'.<br />
Member profile text was stored as a encoded string, its no longer encoded.<br />
When using the arcade exchange, the memebr variables did not update instantly on the template after selling/buying a token.<br />
Members could cheat with tokens by using negative values in the exchange.<br />
Members could cheat on the imp arcade game by countinous refresh. They are now required to select a new imp every time.<br />
Banned members could still use arcade, missions etc.<br />
Banned members expire to time was wrong.<br />

This update is just going to show you the Admin Panel that has been developed in RC4.<br />

The main update of this admin panel is, that it is now, modular. Meaning, index.php?module=members/core/6/. If this doesn't mean anything to you, it means that developing new applications for the Admin panel is now easier. It's done with MySQL. This means, more updates, and faster.<br />
<br />
I have only taken a few screenshots, as it would take hours to screenshot all the new sections that have taken place.<br />
<br />
I won't explain them either; I'll leave you to do all the guessing!<br />

<span style="font-weight: bold;">3.</span> Does smfnew.com use exact copy (exluding mods &amp; themes) of script that we get once purchasing license? No tweaks to security or so which would not be available in regular script?<br />

About guestion 2, some of our potential users would love to get their "websites" done with portal system, without any links or "hints" that there would be forums behind the portal system, if you understand what I mean.<br />

Since script is used over smfnew.com (if I understood correct), I noticed that you also provide mybbnew.com but I assume we cannot obtain that script at all, if so, is there any hope to obtain license in future?<br />

Can you comment anything about security when comparing to SMF and MyBB? It seems hosted forums admins (myBB) have quite resources to manage their forums including FTP and theme edits, hopefully security is strong with those kind of options?<br />

Therefore, every location has a co-ordinate, which you set. The co-ordinates are based from an origin point (the centre of the map). So location A can be 5 miles north of the origin and 156 miles east. Then location B can be 14 miles south of the origin. The script then calculates the distance between them. Players must now travel between locations; I will further explore the travelling side of the game in part 2.<br />
